Don't expect fine cinematography or expensive special effects; this is the B-movie of all B-movies. However, if you're looking for some mindless fun, this is definitely worth a rental! Clever dialogue and better acting than normally seen (Tim Thomerson is a hoot as the main character) distinguish this from most of its genre. Sure, the plot is corny - a 13 inch tall man accidentally winds up on Earth and ends up fighting gangs in the South Bronx - but it's funny nonetheless. Gene makes a short appearance as a police captain more concerned with looking good on television than fighting any actual crime. It's still hard to find on video but click here to find the best price - I've also seen copies on E-bay.
