Amusing if typically foul-mouthed Eddie Murphy/Richard Pryor film. Pryor's character is the owner of an illegal casino, who has to contend with a mob boss and corrupt policemen who want to take him down. Gene plays one of the police officers, and there's a surprising twist involving his character at the end. Interesting trivia: The film won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
